about me

Bridget Daly, Sports Therapist BSc MSc MSST

 

Bridget is an injury and performance specialist who has spent years working with elite athletes. Previous clubs include; Watford FC, Chelsea FC Ladies, Elmbridge Eagles RFU,  Surrey Storm NLT and the Ironman UK series. She is currently works for the England Touch Association and Basingstoke Gymnastics club. She understands the importance of getting an athlete back to playing top level sport in the safest time possible.

 

A vast amount of her time has been spent working alongside Physios and Medical Doctors within football academies which facilitated her interest in adolescent injuries. She corrects biomechanics early to ensure healthy growth and provides exercise programs for injury prevention.

 

She has worked at a variety of sports events treating competitors pre/post event and providing pitch side first aid. Her favourite role to date was working at Eton Dorney at the Olympics, London 2012.

Bridget has spent the later years working in multidisciplinary clinics. She combines her hands-on approach with cutting edge rehabilitation methods to treat a variety of injuries and clientele. She has a full understanding of the spine and nervous system and likes to treat the body as a whole.

She is a fully insured member of the Society of Sports Therapists, holds a current first aid qualification and has both an Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute  Matwork Level 1 and Ante/post natal Pilates qualification.  

​

Bridget believes in maintaining an active lifestyle and is usually training for her next event. In 2017 she completed the London marathon. You will also find her outdoors with her two children or baking up a treat in the kitchen.
